The plan: a waterfront marina, bar, or restaurant in the Mobile Bay area will host dock space, rigging support, and final departure logistics in the days before Shamrocket departs Palafox Pier — and serve as the gathering point for a proper send-off ahead of the November 1, 2026 launch.
Departure day, milestone stops, and select moments along the Rim Run are broadcast live — bringing supporters and followers onto the deck of Shamrocket in real time. In addition to traditional above and underwater filming, the technology used to produce live streaming events consists of the following.
The plan: live broadcasts — departure day, milestone arrivals, and expedition updates — will be produced through StreamYard and streamed direct to followers. Which company steps in as the platform partner behind that broadcast is still to be determined.
